Partners and Collaborators

Amakali Conservation Trust

Amakali Conservation Trust eV is a Germany registered non profit organisation dedicated to advancing science, research, and nature conservation. Our work supports cross cultural collaboration, strengthens international understanding, and contributes to sustainable development. Through partnerships and community driven initiatives we aim to protect biodiversity and foster long term ecological resilience.

Conservation South Luangwa

Conservation South Luangwa is a conservation NGO established in 2003 to provide sustainable conservation of species and habitats in Zambia’s South Luangwa Valley. With the help of communities and a number of conservation partners, measures are implemented to ensure the continued existence of wildlife and habitats in South Luangwa under the Zambian administration. Projects focus primarily on combating poaching and illegal wildlife trade, as well as on mitigating human-wildlife conflicts.

 

Everwild

Everwild Travel is an experience based safari company created in response to a growing desire for authentic immersion in nature. Through years of work in tourism they observed that guests consistently sought deeper connections to the wilderness, choosing open sky showers and sleep outs under the stars whenever possible. Recognising this need the team at Everwild developed a portfolio of camps and experiences that offer the essence of the wild with modern comfort and safety.

International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW)

The International Fund for Animal Welfare is a leading global charity dedicated to animal welfare and conservation. Their mission is to rescue animals in need, protect wildlife populations, preserve natural habitats, and advocate for stronger protections worldwide. IFAW and Nsanga are in partnership to support the management of the Luambe-Lukusuzi Landscape in eastern Zambia.

Chitungulu Foundation

The Chitungulu Foundation is focused on promoting community-oriented development that goes hand in hand with nature conservation in and around Chitungulu village, Zambia. Working closely with the local community, the foundation undertakes various environmentally sustainable, income-generating projects. These initiatives, together with small-scale ecotourism, help build a more resilient and informed community capable of making conscious decisions about its preferred development path.

Copperbelt University

The Copperbelt University (CBU) is a public university in Kitwe, Zambia. It is the largest public university in Zambia and is currently ranked as the best university in Zambia. CBU offers a diverse range of wildlife and conservation-related courses such as wildlife management, sustainable natural resource management and climate change or forestry.

Zambian Carnivore Programme

The Zambian Carnivore Programme (ZCP) is a Zambian non-profit organisation dedicated to the conservation of large carnivores and their native ecosystems. In cooperation with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife (DNPW) and other partners, ZCP follows a three-pronged approach based on research, policy implementation, and human and organisational development in the field of species conservation.

Caring For Conservation Fund

The Caring for Conservation Fund (C4C) supports non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and projects worldwide that share a commitment to sustainable species and landscape conservation. In addition to this vital work, C4C prioritizes the empowerment of local communities, acknowledging their essential role in successful conservation efforts.

Faunomics

Faunomics is a leader in comprehensive Biodiversity Assessments and Monitoring, employing cutting-edge scientific techniques to study ecosystem dynamics. The company is dedicated to providing precise, data-driven insights into species diversity and distribution across different habitats. By leveraging advanced technologies, Faunomics offers reliable information crucial for ecological research and evidence-based conservation planning. This expertise helps stakeholders make informed decisions, playing a key role in the sustainable management of natural resources.

Sensing Clues

Sensing Clues provides nature conservation organizations with cutting-edge technologies for collecting, integrating, and analyzing data. Their team, composed of ecologists, law enforcement professionals, data scientists, and ICT engineers, is dedicated to co-creating solutions for assessing conservation status and identifying pressures and threats.
